King Lear scenery version1

My stage design to Shakespeare's King Lear. I wanted to create a quite simplistic stage for the play, which convey a kind of cold atmosphere. My idea was to design a castle interior that is built of stone, but which at the same time can fit to our contemporary world. I added blue and red to make the scene much interesting, and also because these are the main colors of the costumes. (you can check costumes out here: [link] and [link])
Nowadays I like to play with the different levels of the stage, maybe that is why I built the staircase as the main element of the scenery.
